One of my old birds
Hi all Found an OLD pic of myself along with my old ACE Bingo which was taken around 96-97 I think this was taken a short while after I had recovered it and replaced the heavy Enya 91 fourstroke with a lighter and more powerful Saito .91S. It was built in 87 as a project for class of all things and I still have it but needs recovering again. enjoy a small look at my past! and excuse the 70-80's look lol

Now that's funny right there. After reading your post, I do recall reading the article on the Bingo back in the day. Nice pic, and nice plane.

Yeah it's a easy flying, fun plane and has tought quite a few to fly in fact. I used to be an AMA Intro pilot instructor and used it a lot for training. It would scoot when you poured the coals to it but pull the power back and it was as easy as any trainer to fly and it's large size made it easy to see and i sill have it and can still be flown but needs recovering again lol. 1980s Look ?? Man I wish I had the feel/look of 1980 Nice looking aeroplane that's one big one , good to see at a distance when I was tring to learn RC I had to recover a wing side and done it in a difft. color that helped a lot to ID witch way it was turning
