Yep, that's right, I'm throwing in the towel. I've been too busy to stay up to speed with all the posts, too busy to help members who are having trouble with their accounts (the complaint emails are piling up). It wouldn't be right to just let the place decay like the leaking batteries in my Cox battery box. Its been more than a few years since I've ran a Cox engine. My collection has been confined to a few cardboard boxes for quite some time now, the engines that are still displayed are now caked up with dust and will require extensive cleaning before they would ever be suitable for running.

• Hosted offsite (no onsite servers and tech support needed)
• Almost 5 years of online presence
• 1700+ members and growing (100+ regular members)
• Members from all over the world

• Manual Library
• Photo Gallery

• 130+ Emoticons
• Rights to the T-shirt design and all future sales.

The buyer will receive more than 50 floppy disks containing backup info for avatars, emoticons, Cox Engine of the Month, Traveling Prop, Traveling Engine, forum icons, coding... 3 external hard drives (two 500GB and one 1TB drive) containing backups for the manuals and other information for backup and development. The buyer will also receive the Traveling Prop framed with all its items, prototype CEF T-shirt, prototype CEF .049 engine, remaining stock of CEF notepads and other promotional items.

Since I'm dumping the entire hobby, the buyer will receive my collection of Cox engines, models, accessories and parts cabinet.

Buyer must be a current and active member. Buyers MUST be passionate about Cox Engines.
Buyers account will be transformed into Administrator account. I will be available for tech support if needed in the future.

Prices will be negotiated privately.

Sorry crankbndr, your guys made one hell of an offer but if you're not going to accept the engines along with the forum, I can't sell it to you.

For those of you who really thought I was selling the forum, its not the end of the world. I have no plans to sell or leave the forum in the future (my engines aren't going anywhere LOL).

That's another one of my hobbies. I repair and collect 8-track tapes and the players. What kind of music do you like? I have many that I would rarely ever listen to. I've recorded a few for guys who have the players in their classic cars too. I've been on the lookout for a few tapes for Lieven (OVERLORD). I don't find rock tapes as often as I find country and easy listening so the rock tapes usually end up on my shelf.

I take it that this must have been one of those "mean pranks" that goes too far then.

I promise I won't pull this or anything like it again.

But, just for the record, even if I did sell the forum, I would make sure that it goes to someone who would know how to run it, would enjoy running it and has a passion for Cox engines. No one should have anything to worry about. (again, I'm not selling it)


As a side note, I just renewed the domain name so it's good for another year!
