Cox Engine Forum Zippo
As a test subject to one of many Cox Engine Forum branded item ideas, I had a Zippo lighter engraved while at the fair. I was originally going to only have a tag engraved for my dog but after seeing the lit up Zippo sign and a rotating display case filled with liters, I just had to have one done. It sure wasn't cheap to do but like all prototypes and the fact that I was at a place where everything was price hiked, I had to expect the $40 I paid for the originally $20 lighter ($15 at Wal-Mart). So far I like it and if everyone else likes it, I could have some done online for MUCH cheaper (as I can't see anyone on here paying around $45-50 for a $15 lighter with 3 words on it).
If I get some done online, I would like to have the forum logo or a Babe Bee engraved on it.

Re: Cox Engine Forum Zippo
No but really Jacob I think this would be a really neat idea and I would definitely be down for at least one of them!
Re: Cox Engine Forum Zippo
Down for one at least. Maybe start a prepay purchase list thread. Would be nice to get our username on the top like you did, then maybe the CEF logo,,or Cox Powered,,or both squeezed on there.

Well, except you. Although I think you would rather have a "Black Ice" finished lighter with a logo engraved in it other than a "Street Chrome" finished lighter with a few words.

I don't smoke at all and I have about 10 Zippo lighters as well as a few other lighters. Most of them sit in their boxes and rarely if ever see lighter fluid while I carry and use a $10 one to light fires in the yard, pencil torches and so on.
Re: Cox Engine Forum Zippo
You would be suprised at how many non-smokers come up to me and ask to borrow my lighter for sealing up a frayed nylon end, or lighting a candle, or igniting a torch, or whatever.

This looks really awesome!
I may have to engrave a Cox logo or something on a Zippo next time crankcases are being done.
