Re: Glowplugboy fuel is back!
I'd be willing to outright buy a few quarts (whatever it takes to mitigate the HAZMAT fees). There's gonna be an explosion of 1/2A flying up on the hill once these Scientific Hollow Logs start coming off the table.

You ask 20 people and you'll probably have 20 different blends. LOL You know how we are.
For me, I'd like 25% nitro with 20% oil castor/synthetic 50/50. But I don't fly a whole lot and I'm mostly a round and rounder with Sure Starts. As far as I know, I don't need high nitro, but I'm not real picky and I'm currently flying with some Morgan helicopter fuel that I think is 30% nitro and I dumped some castor in it, how much I don't remember. And it's so old, it's a god aweful color, but it seems to be running fine. Whatever the overall consensus is, that'd be fine with me. And I'd rather buy from the "little guy" than buy the Cox fuel from Tower.... nothing against Tower, but that's how I roll.

Re: Glowplugboy fuel is back!
I fly my TD's .010 / .020 /.049 / .09 and .15's all with 20% castor here in HOT Skorchin Texas.
40% Nitro for the .010 and .020
25% Nitro for the .049 thru .15's
I always flush with after run oil each day of flying.

Hey Fitz
The 35% nitro you sent me runs great in my Norvel Big Mig and AME .061s. Also have run it a few times in one Tee Dee .049. We'll call it a successful test batch. Looks good.
Thanks,
Rusty

Re: Glowplugboy fuel is back!
Got my batch of Fitz Fuels...4 quarts of 15%...and figure to try some of it in the Big B.O.T.'s Medallion .15 tomorrow.
Also gonna try it out in Big Otto if the winds will let me.

Re: Glowplugboy fuel is back!
Oh, I didn't know it was on the market yet. Cool. Where did you get it. The Fitzfuels website confused me. It looked like a shopping cart for T shirts. I don't get any hits on eBay.
Everyone remember, if you break in a new Cox P/C set on this 18/2 blend, you may need to de-varnish it after the first hours of running. Some of us could have forgotten about that since we mostly all switched over to Sig and other 50/50 oil fuels. This is not a bad thing, just sayin'... a reminder if you will.

Re: Glowplugboy fuel is back!
The website is badly incomplete with "lorem ipsum" filler all over it (Google it if you wonder). Generally I am unwilling to deal with websites in this condition. Stripped down and spartan is a much better reflection on the company than incompletely set up. Spartan layout is at least admitting that the skill resides in the product and not the website.
I am down to my last quart of Sig Champion, and will strongly consider ordering this summer.

Kim.
Glad you got the stuff.
Phil, the website is not live! Please don't use it (if you noticed, I have not publicized its url on this thread). It is still being worked on (my goal for this coming weekend). I admit it is a complete mess as I'm still learning the S/W. My apologies.
Kim bought the fuel via e-mail/PM. Give me a couple days to clean up the online store.
Stay tuned.

Re: Glowplugboy fuel is back!
I found your page via Google. I haven't built a webpage since college...by hand, in HTML, since the fancy editors that are available now were not yet written.
After my up coming family vacation I will see about ordering a couple quarts.

Website is up
Ok, guys.
The website seems to be operational now.
The URL is: www.fitzfuels.com
Design won't win any awards, but it should get the job done.
Note that I only accept PayPal for the time being.
Thanks.
P.S. Phil, I hear ya. I also did HTML by hand back in the day. Things are way too sophisticated now a days.

Re: Glowplugboy fuel is back!
Yep. And speaking of mixing it up. a pint of the 15% mixed with a pint of 35% would make what??? 25%.

Ridiculously expensive. It's just a matter of time now and glow will be extinct if this keeps up. Ken
