Cox RR - 1 Backplate
I have seen a number of these early model (Blue/White) RR-1s with the dual vent backplates. Did they leave the factory that way? Thanks Andy

The fill tubes should not be drilled in the backplate. They did come from the factory that way. There were also a small handful that had blue smooth tanks without the grooves cut in. I believe Mudhen has one if these engines with the smooth tank.
