I'm PM'ing with Rod about the spitfire. He's first in line then you. I didn't get the Pitts, yet. I'm going to try to get them Monday. There's two Pitts.

Ron
I felt he wanted to much for the Veco .19, he came down to $18. But the piston looked a little dark and it was stuck, I wanted it for $10. I would have took a chance on it for that. I'll try him again on Monday. Maybe I'm to cheap.
Lol, $18 sounds good to me. I'll pay that if you go back.
If the rest looks good, then it is probably well worth the money. A dark and stuck piston usually means that the engine has been run on castor, so that's good news. A little heat should take care of it.
Meccoa has new piston/cylinder sets for these too, or at least they did a few years ago when I stocked up on them.

All
I haven't forgotten about all this 1/2A stuff, this was just a bad weekend to try to do all this. I had a cl combat match yesterday. A fishing/ocean beach trip with friends today. And a friend headed back to his home in Canada is going to stop by for a little combat lesson for my boys and dinner tomorrow. Sorry for the delay.

Re: WOW! Boxes of 1/2A stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All- I talked to the guy yesterday, he didn't sell much of the 1/2A stuff at the yard sale. Sooooo.
Ron- the veco .19 is still up for grabs. I believe I had him down to $18 plus you pay the shipping.
1/2A nut- I have two spitfires and can get two Pitts. I checked the shipping two Dallas, Texas for the spitfire, $16.
Mark- I have three warkhawks and can get two pitts. I checked the shipping to Portland for a warhawk, $12 or my nexr trip down to Delta Park if you can wait. I'm not sure if I'm coming down Sunday or not with the rain.
Prices
P-40 Warhawk unopened-$50
P-40 Warhawk opened but seems to have everything and un-run- $40
Spitfire unopened-$50
Spitfire opened and only has plane and pull cord-$30
Zero in nicer package-$50
Zero in worse package-$40
Pitts- going to be around $50- I need to make him an offer and see the condition again.

I'll take a P40 or Spitfire. Im not a collector, rather a flyer, so I don't care about in box or not. In fact, out of box is better (let the other guys get the shelf queens). PM sent.

Neato! I think I'd like to have the little red biplane, if it is still around. Let me know, and it's condition.

Duke,
I'll take an unopened Warhawk and the nicer package Zero if not already bespoken. I'll also take a Pitts. Spitfires seem to be in demand, but if one is left over, I'll take one. Basically, I'll take what I can get. I can PayPal you the funds, and I can wait until the next time we get together. I'm not in a hurry. I just want them eventually. I won't be there Sunday. I work Sundays. But, I'm sure we'll end up at the same place at the same time sometime.

Re: WOW! Boxes of 1/2A stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for the price rundown Duke, per Rons first request I have to wait to see if he wanted the spitfire if not I'm 1st up for the 50 in the box version then differ to the 30 if need be should Ron stick to his first request.
Perhaps a request list should be set up per date of and those on it need to confirm by pay pal (within a set time limit) till the list of items have been exhausted.
Im ready to pull the trigger at $66.00 to your pay pal when you say or $46.00 per Ron's choice.

Re: WOW! Boxes of 1/2A stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry about the delayed reply. Whoever is next in line for the Spitfire can go for it. As much as I'd love it, once I'd paid the $60 shipping I probably couldn't spring for the plane. It would be flown rather than collected, so I reckon I'm better off building a balsa one which should fly a lot better anyway.
