WOW! Boxes of 1/2A stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I met with a guy last night with one wall in his garage covered in boxes of 1/2A planes, plastic plane parts, engines, cars, and trikes. Anyone interested in stuff like this?

If you're talking as in for sale I would be interested in buying a trike.

What are you willing to pay? I'm going back there today. I can make the offer for you. You will need to send me the money plus shipping and I'll ship it to you.
I'd be happy to pick up some of this stuff for the members. Let me know. He's going to have a garage sale this weekend and it might all go cheap.

He wants to sell everything! I have a box of his engines in my truck that he let me look through last night. Cox, McCoy, OK Cubs, mostly, .020's-.099's. He had one Veco .19, no muffler. Most of the engines are stuck, but look like they would be easy to loosen up.

This one, if I remember right had no muffler, but you can still buy them and this one had the holes for the muffler bar. I think it had an OS venturi and needle. I can make an offer for you if you want. I have a couple and love them, very strong runners. They will fly a S-1 Ringmaster very well.

Box of 1/2A stuff!
When you get the engines catalogued, list the ones you don't want here, I'd be interested in knowing/possibly purchasing if something catches my fancy.

I'm trying to figure out a price for the box-o-engines, right now. I'll let you know. If I buy the box, I'll go through all them and make sure they run before selling.
Last chance, I'm aheaded over there in about a half hour. Then I'll check with him Monday after his garage sale.

I don't need a muffler, without seeing it I cannot make an educated offer. If you think it's a good one then offer what you would pay for it. Let me know
Thanks Duke

I'll make him an offer. If you don't want it, I can use it for parts. I can use the venturi and needle if nothing else.

Is anyone interested in the planes? I'd certainly like a Cox Pitts or the Testors Spitfire, but postage out here to AU would put a lid on that. I would have thought people would have jumped on them. Maybe they did by PM, but if they're going begging, the guys over a 049 collectors would certainly be interested.

I might take some of the scraps no one else wants. I never come out a winner when the collector$ get wind of anything. Looking for useable 020's. or 010's.
Love to find a Sopwith that I could afford!

I felt he wanted to much for the Veco .19, he came down to $18. But the piston looked a little dark and it was stuck, I wanted it for $10. I would have took a chance on it for that. I'll try him again on Monday. Maybe I'm to cheap.

I didn't buy the whole box on engines, I couldn't get him to give me a price and I had to get home. I bought a few out of the box though. I'll see what I want to part with.

I'll talk to him Monday, $18 is a great deal IF it you can get it to free up and run. Not so great if not. I wanted to be careful spending someone else's money.

Duke, I'm interested in the Zero and the Warhawk if the price is reasonable. Might even spring for the Pitts if I could afford it. What's he asking for them?

I just got back home from a date with my wife and I'm a little tired to get everything out tonight. Sorry. I needed to take my wife out to smooth things over after buying more airplanes. She already thinks I have an airplane problem. I have one maybe two warhawks and two zeros. One zero has a poor package and one has a good package. And of the boxed testors, two of the boxes are open. One is complete, but open. The other is missing the instructions and the muffler ring. I'll get better pictures and list after our combat contest tomorrow. I have not decided if we are going to the Labor Day Delta Park fun fly yet. But IF we do, I can bring them down. I didn't buy the Red Knight "Pitts looking planes", but he had two.

If the Spitfire is up for grabs I can offer paypal per owners requested price... will need to ship to texas.
Note:
Rod the Engineer from Aussie land requested the Pitss and Spit first so have to see if he wants both the Pitts and the Spit or just the Pitt. I dont want to step on anyone he posted first. = )
Rod pipe in let me know as you were concerned about shipping both to AU.
Thank you
