COX Peewee 020 hop-ups
I have looked and do not see a thread on this subject, so........
Just like the reedie 049`s have a venom where`s the peewee equivalent?
peewee and teedee 020 piston/cylinders are the same from what I can see.
Slightly enlarging the diameter in the fuel pick up nipple, likewise for the intake.backplate holes............thats about all the options we have right?
Ronald Valentine makes a very nice "version" but the price was not for my blood. I will start on my teedee020 project before that.
But the peewee, an I missing anything here guys?

Maybe lightening the piston? You can also try to make cutouts to the crankshaft, depending on the equipment you have... Increased venturi hole, mylar reed, (Hi comp head? ), preferring those round drive plates to the hex ones, I don't see anything else...

Go to flyfreeflight.com I have not been there in a while but I remember him to have done a lot of cool things with the .020.

cutting out the crankshaft would decrease performance because it would put the crankshaft off balance as well as weakining it.
Killer bees had it instead of counter balancing because it is stronger but you dont use both at the same time of if you do you reduce one but a pee wee crank is pest left as it is and polished real shiny.
When lightening pistons you get 1500-2300 RPM increases in my experience.

High compression TD head. SPI?
There are not as many different parts for .020's as there were for the larger engines, so there is not much you can do.

flyfreeflight.com................
I knew about Bobs work, he did my G-mark.03 glowhead conversion, teedee020 Is next to head to him, I can`t do head work yet....
His head work is reasonably priced actually, I havn`t looked at the site in a while though;and I didn`t read extensively back when I did, phone calls and emails told me what I needed to know for that project.
I will just do as I previously mentioned and I forgot the high comp. head on that list.
Otherwise I will just run the teedee020........throttled lol
