NFFS .051 Medallion verifification
This probably has been brought up before in here but, how can a person verify whether the .051 NFFS Medallion, in his own possession, is indeed authentic?? Thank You!

Re: NFFS .051 Medallion verifification
I believe the piston and cylinder are unique, the Killer Bee .051 had different exhaust ports.
The box and paperwork would help, but looks like they could be faked.
Without provenance I don't know.

I believe the NFFS .051 has an un-tapered piston as well ??? Is that circular ring-(groove) around the bottom of the piston significant to the identification of this engine? Thanks.

Lew,
That ring is particular to all .051's and not just the NFFS. What serial number is yours?
There is a good bit of info on here about the NFFS let me see if I can find it.
