Re: !/2 A Kits
Coxengines.ca can order all the Blackhawk kits, but blackhawk is slowly closing down to retire and not all kits are available anymore. Check Blackhawk's website for the kits. http://www.blackhawkmodels.com/ Some are built up fuselages, but I don't know about the wing.
Brodak.com has a nice selection of laser cut kits and plans.
Both companies produce top notch products.
You will be a little challenged to find non-profile 1/2a control line plans, let alone kits though. Adapting a kit to a built up fuse might work as well.

1/2 A Kits
Thanks for the fast reply Phil ! Thats what I've found so far.
Now that I have retired I have the time to build & fly like I did many years ago!
Back then I used a Gullows kit for the P 40 Flying Tigre that was rubber powered , covered everything with very thin sheet balsa and it flew very well but was a little slow with the standard Cox 049.
So I am thinking about building another but with one of the more powerful Cox 049's
or converting one of the electric kits to control line.
I would like to hear from anyone that has gone down this road. Thanks , RK Flyer

Re: !/2 A Kits
Hook up with the folks on Flying lines, there are a few members in your area that I am sure would welcome you and assist in who locally has stuff
A lot of us order from Brodak
Great kits can be had from BlackHawk but hurry as he is on the last year of business and not restocking as kits sell out
These folks are reported to have some CL stuff:
Hobbies Unlimited
4305 N. Interstate Ave.
Portland, OR
(503) 287-4090
I know some of this is redundant to previous post

The RSM pinto is a nice flying full fuse stunter. If you have been away from the CL scene for a while a profile may be better suited to shake out the cobwebs.

Re: !/2 A Kits
Ray Stone has one full fuse kit. His kits are not laser cut though. He hand cuts all parts. They are very nice quality. No rough edges or waves. Nice and straight. Excellent wood quality.
The kit is in the Stunt section. Called the Snapper. At the bottom of the page. Takes a reed .049. Originally called for a Babe Bee. Coincidentally, I have one that is being shipped tomorrow.
A more patriotic version.
All prices on his site include shipping. The only thing to add on is Paypal fees (if you pay through this).

Thank's to everyone for the info! The "Snapper'" is exactly what I am looking for and I will order one ASAP!
Which Cox engine would you buy to power the Snapper ? I am looking at the Super Bee or Bumble Bee for more power.
Thanks, RK Flyer

Any reed engine will do. Depending on the spacing behind the firewall, you could go with a Medallion and an external tank if you have one. A Black Widow would be my choice for more power.

Edit: Just realized that your are looking at Bernie's site. Both of the engines you listed would work great. Any tanked engine on his site should fly it. The ones you named should give it more power over a standard Babe Bee.
