Actually, I'd say RCG's 4000 kind of pales in comparison to Jacob's 1000, since this site's focus is pretty narrow (mostly Cox, mostly 1/2a) whereas they are drawing on electric, gas and fuel planes, cars, boats, jets, etc. Not to mention the unwashed hordes of brain dead ARFer and RTFer's.

TOTALLY AGREE with you three guys! Not to disparage the other site, but I've tried it out, and always end up asking myself what I'm doing there. If there's not fresh stuff happening on the C.E.F. or Mark's .049 Collectors, I need to be spending my time in the shop or assailing the atmosphere.

I'm VERY thankful for Jacob and this merry band of Castor Slingers !!!!!!

RCG went online back in 1996 - 474883 Members

RCU went online back in 2001 - 597257 Members

They both probably have about 5000 active daily users (people who login each day).

CEF went online July 2010 - 1002 Members

We have about 50-60 active daily users (people who login each day).

Personally, I like the smaller community, you can get to know people better.

This forum is more centered on Cox engines, RC/CL models. while the others are for anything about RC.

That's right, I spoke of exposure and forgot to mention we get a lot of referrals from Mark's collectors group too.
