Here is the picture posted earlier. It is larger than the one I posted. The lines are easier to see. Very noticeable above the left cylinder.

I agree. If you click "view image" and then click up to large size, the cuts outlined in Rolla's other post are apparent.

It looks like a screw to hold the rear crank web to the driving pin of the crankshaft and stop it floating about. It is offset and not central to stop the web twisting around the crankpin.
Need more plan sheets to confirm.
