Cox Engine of The Month
Tatone TD mount
Tatone TD mount
I won this recently for my TD .049 to use.
It was new in the package and looks great, but I was surprised that the mounting holes were not threaded. It came with some self tapping machine screws. Pretty stressful screwing those into the aluminum mount, they are so tiny, I was constantly afraid they would snap. Used WD-40 as lubricant and they worked out ok. Anybody know how old this mount is from the packaging? I'm thinking its from back in the 70's maybe?
*edit: Added a pic of the mount with engine.

Not sure of the vintage of the mount Steve, but
that is one hell of a nice photo.
Saturday night eye candy for sure.

My camera is an old Olympus C-2020z with 10x zoom lens. I think i got it back in 2001.

The old ones often take better pictures. Noting is out of date if the performance is adequate.
