Well I got a yellow that looks like new, I have the original package, instructions, wrench, warranty card etc. You really want to spend money PMME...Everything is for sale for the right price.

Gotta watch out for the fake strato bugs that are out there. The only way to tell is to have a look at the inside of the tank and backplate. I guess there are plans floating around on the MECA site for you to make a tank and use a space bug jr backplate to create a strato bug out of a space bug jr front end.

I have a red strato bug in my collection but it's not for sale. The first strato bug I bought was a fake off of ebay. That got returned for a full refund.

I would ask the seller to remove the back plate and take pictures before you send cash Steve, after all, a transaction with a Strato Bug is involving alot of money and the seller should comply with that request. If he starts making excuses why he cannot upload pictures and yada yada yada...just walk away from the deal!! There is a good article in here posted by Jason ^^^^ on the authenticity of a Strato Bug, good stuff to be aware of when Strato Hunting!! Good Luck Steve!!
