I have never seen the packaging with the paper stapled over the plastic bag. Was this only done the first year for the Conquest?

What did Estes package their Cox parts in? I believe there was some very early packaging that I'm missing also.

The tank kit came straight from Estes-Cox back when they were still selling Sure Starts and parts (probably bought around 2007). The Glow Heads are from the hobby shop, the hobby shop price tags have date codes of Nov-2005 and Aug-2004.

I don't remember where this picture came from, I believe it was an eBay auction.

I have recently seen a bunch or Conquest parts from a member here in England and they were all packaged identically to what you show in your pic.
