Brandon's Green Hornet
Here is his B-day present so far.
I am thinking I need to add a small bit of red to it... not sure where though, without looking like a Christmas Bee.

Re: Brandon's Green Hornet
Maybe a red drive plate?

I'm thinking a 3-fin instead of the 5-Fin, any one want to trade heads?
Re: Brandon's Green Hornet
I like the 3 fin best. And I like the first colors too. Adding red or gold will be overload... but I'm sort of a minimalist that way, not too gaudy. It looks really good with black green and silver.

Re: Brandon's Green Hornet
It started out as a Cox International (Bernie) Green Hornet. I think Bernie just discontinued them...
Matt at Ex Model Engines found me the green anodized case.

Just a black spinner?
I think I like this one the best so far... maybe a large drive plate and a 3-fin head.

Re: Brandon's Green Hornet
Green case, large Killer Bee driveplate, 3-fin head, black spinner, my favorite combo

Oh, okay. I thought you meant us making a complete engine like that.

No this is the one I am building for Brandon for his birthday.

We do not stock the 5-fin, so we would have to pass on this.
Matt
Re: Brandon's Green Hornet
There I go spending more money again
On a side note, I am having fun building these custom engines
Re: Brandon's Green Hornet
I think you had it on the first try, Travis. Just needed a 3 fin head.
