Re: Guillows kits
wish i could say... i suffer from a horrible case of unfinished project syndrome :/
the gentle man at my lhs says that the Javeline is the best one he has ever seen
If i were to go through with an rc conversion i would choose a larger kit where the control surfaces are already cut out like the P38, f4u corsair. Although those are some of the more expensive kits, that is what i would go with
good luck, Mitchg95

Re: Guillows kits
U and me both bud just wondering tis all seen some flights of guillows javelin and lancer as free flight and they seem to be quite impressive flights of over a minute seems quite good for a rubber powered model Saw eons finished spit looked good but didn't hear about how it flew am going away for a short break mid feb so might look into something to fly while away something simple and cheap to muck around with might just finish a model to take with me ..... Drum roll you never know
Cheers

Re: Guillows kits
over 1 min on rubber power is pretty good, what is really impressive is the "dollar bill planes" i think thats what they call them, i saw some at a local air museum and they are rubber powered planes that weigh the same as a dollar bill and can fly for minutes at a time.
Good luck on finding a model to build

Cheers will keep looking found the west wings Olympian as well they look quite nice with reportedly good flying charecteristics about £15 so not bad just found a javelin kit on eBay for £12 with free p&p mmmmm decisions decisions think I'm gonna be strong and try to finish off my little profile p51 for some c/l fun while away leave the guillows for another month prob too windy to fly at the moment guess they need nice balmy calm days ??? I hear we might get one mid September !!!!!

Re: Guillows kits
Im working on a guillows cessna 150, the new laser cut kit, hope to fly it with my throttled 010, but im having doubts, as i originally wanted to use a larger 020 prop cut down, but the engine wont throttle with it, only the stock prop, and stock barely clears the cowling, ive seen the cessna 170 with the 010, with a similar cowling, however i dont know if the plane was ever flown.
