We have coming to us a limited supply of:

18 Units - 020 Pee Wee tank assemblies with backplate (OEM packaging) ($29.95)
19 Units - 049 Standard mufflers ($16.95)
5 Units - 049 Throttle/mufflers as in the pic below ($19.95)
2 Units - 09 Tee Dee cylinders/pistons (OEM packaging) ($29.95)

These will be priced at market value but, what is realistic? My thoughs are in brackets beside each product.

I would like the two TD Cylinders and pistons that price seems OK.

The Pee Wee tanks and backplates seem a bit too much. I just bought 3 very nice Pee Wees for $65

Sure thing Ian.

Last year we had a handful of new 020 backplates listed for $14.95 and they went within a day or so with lots of emails for more. So I figured $16.95 with the needle included and add in the tank bowl and.... ? Perhaps we should split up the backplate and tank.

But then, this is why I ask for advice on the forum Smile

That might be best Bernie as the tanks are easily found, the backplates are hard to find. Splitting them up may be an easier pill to swallow and in the end you will probably make a few more bucks.

I did not realize that the tanks are easily found but will reserach that. At some point Reggie was selling some.

Ebay isn't the only way we get parts...... Very Happy

If I put a "wanted Pee Wee backplate" on the forum it would probably go unanswered. I run across tanks in the private sector more often than not.

With a part number being "CO1098" I would guess they are old Estes stock. Estes stock would be a silver tank but would still have a metal backplate. I believe Estes started the "CO" in front of the part number. I guess to tell the Estes product numbers from the Cox product numbers. Select Hobbies had some Pee Wee tank kits for $29.95 which I see are now out of stock. I ordered one of those kits back around the time when I first made the forum because I managed to break the fuel nipple off the backplate on my "NIB" Pee Wee. I took it out of the box only to use it to mark where I had to drill mounting holes and I believe a cox wrench or screwdriver got wedged between the nipple and lug and when I slammed the lid on my engine starting box, it broke. I had no option but to buy a brand new exact replacement to keep it original so I had to buy it.

I did take my price cue from Steve at Select Hobbies. Looks like he had no problems selling out at that price but I guess I will price the metal backplates at $16.95 with the needle, spring, pickup line and line spring / and the tanks at $12.95 with venturi gasket, crankcase gasket, reed and retainer.

The one on top? Is it not a Dragonfly throttle muffler?

That looks like a throttle muffler used on the early version of the GTP Nissan. I could use 2 as I need to replace a missing one on a dragon fly and a replacement for one of my Nissans as it falls apart whre it is pressed together.

Were the TD sets in the old cardboard package blister pack or plastic bag? The old ones were tapered.

Yep, part number 20467. Used on the Medallion R/C .049 and the Dragonfly.
