1960s cox thimble drome green camo spitfire
hi guys does anyone know if there was version that had a short black antenna instead of a green one? i thought they all had a green one? also what year were those manufactured? just that i just got one in near mint condition and wondered about antenna. manythanks regards troy

Lght green camo 1964-1965 dark green camo 1966-1969. I have only seen green antennas,

Is it a separate piece? Maybe replaced with another bit of plastic. Antenna is pretty vulnerable where it sits, unless plane is NIB there's a good chance over 40 some odd years it would get knocked off.
Or maybe someone just thought it would look better painted black. Those things happen.

that may be the case? the right antenna should be 2 c m long , this ones only i cm , i mesured the one on my grey spit to compare ? it actually had an antennA WHEN I GOT IT WHICH WAS AMAZING/ CHEERS.
