Here's a couple of pics of my Vampie freeflight sports model. I've not flown it yet, I'll keep you posted. I'm really getting into the whole vintage modelling thing. We seemed to have had so much more fun back then. I've just got hold of a Single Channel modulator on 2.4 Gigs, and building a single channel model called the Half Wave. Diesel powered COX powered of course. Pics to follow.

You certainly did a great job there. I can only imagine what that will fly like. Knowing what a short run of a .020 can do, that really should climb well. I wish there was more places I could do that around my home. Unfortunately, any areas left is now private property or there's just too many trees and crazy winds. Once again, a beautiful job. Ken

The fuel tanks come in 3 sizes, the one pictured is the medium size. Available from an on-line freeflight model specialist called flighthook here in the UK. Their website is currently being updated, but are using ebay UK
