At a thrift store right now.
Just a few planes, a little high on the prices though. It is ”deal day” so 20% off everything.

At a thriff store right now.
If I'm seeing that price tag correctly on the Sterling Yak-9, it's $29.00. It generally brings twice that on Ebay. It builds quick and is a pretty good flyer with a Fox.35 or Mccoy.35. I learned inverted flight on the Yak-9. Not a bad find actually. If that's a Dizzy boy another rare find and the price looks real good. That I believe is a B speed plane for .29 possibly Dooling. Do you know what the others are? you may just have some good planes there. Ken

Damn! The thrift stores where you are look much better than the ones here in Phoenix.

Re: At a thrift store right now.
Yeah, I didn't buy any of the planes... Its 6:50PM right now and I believe they close at 7:30 so if anyone thinks they need one or more of those kits, you better let me know (assuming that they are still sitting up there).
I don't recall what all the planes were but here is the full size picture if you want to look closer. https://i.servimg.com/u/f46/15/46/86/41/imag6813.jpg

Do you know what the kit in the back that says "Sky Box" is?

Edit: What do you think shipping would be?

The tall one with the yellow paper label might just be a r/c. The label says oldtimer and the pic is a high wing so I could almost rule out control line. Maybe it's just a old design that used a Citizenship escapement rudder only. Ken

I have been to some bad thrift stores. You basically have to find the ones who are located in a older part of the city, but somewhat near the edge of the city. The Unique thrift store is located in an area where many of the houses are close to 70-100 years old and the area was where most of the "working class" lived. I like going to this one because you will likely find the older items such as 8-track tapes, tube radios, old hardware, records and so on. Because I saw those plane kits, I had to look extra close at everything to make sure I'm not passing over any engines of any kind. All I ended up getting is a RCA audio cable for like $1, 120vac to 12vdc 2 amp transformer for 99¢, a brick of 10 90 minute cassettes (because I need more LOL) for $2 and a pre-1940s NIB General Electric Mazda projector bulb for like $1. This thrift store is often packed with tons of people, its dirty and all of the people working there are Mexican and most don't know English. If I'm after items that are cleaner and in better condition, I check out the Goodwill over in Maplewood. The Goodwill that is attached to the main Goodwill warehouse off of University in St.Paul, has crap scattered everywhere and I really have yet to find something I really need to have there. A few new thrift stores have opened up recently on Rice street, "California Thrift" not sure why the name but they have a lot more old collectable crap but the prices are not bad at all. Another one is "Plaza Thrift Store" its another Mexican ran thrift store but they know a little more English LOL, they have a lot of good crap too. The Savers over in Maplewood has a lot more clothing than most of the others (I don't go to thrift stores for clothing) they have a lot of glassware, books but not too much for tapes, records, electronics and crap I'm after. There is also a church ran store over in Little Canada that always has the same crap sitting in the same place as always so I usually check that out like twice a year. I would take more pictures of the crap in these thrift stores but when they see you putting something in your pocket (my phone that would be) they think you are stealing something. I have seen a few people get pulled aside after I clearly seen them take a picture of something and put the camera back in their pocket.

That was a lot more than I wanted to type LOL! Listening to some music at the same time so I got a little carried away
