Cox Engine of The Month
The engines I have

The engines I have
Hello peeps,
Here are the cox engines I have...
This is the oldest one I have, a Medallion .049 R/C which has a broken needle valve from when I crashed into a car...otherwise it's good.
The original box and spanner.
This is my TD .09 R/C which is brand new and never started. This I'm shoe horning into a House of Balsa P51(for about 20 years ) .
The mount we made an NC program for at work because I couldn't find one anywhere at the time(early 90's).
I still have the box and all the bits that came with it somewhere.
A Black Widow I picked just two weeks ago for $50 complete with everything and two new windsor 6x3 props...
And here's the throttled(but untried) TD .010 I introduced in the models forum.
I also just scored a new .020 pee wee R/C engine on ebay which is on the way to me now:)
A shot of the spanners from .09 to .010.

That's a good start! Nice engines. If you spend any amount of time on here you will find that collection expanding.

Fred,
Exmodelengines has the .09 carbs if you are interested. Not sure about where to find the muffler. Don't forget the SPI issue if you plan on attaching the setup to a standard TD.

Hello, You have some really nice engines there. For the broken needle valve, they come up on "the bay" here and there.

Winner at 40 engines is Jason. How did you make out with all thoses TD's that had a few issues? With parts available must be impressive.

I don't have any medallions however, the .09 cylinder is almost double the size. Post a new topic Mitch as everyone may not see your post in this thread.

Thanks Lads,
Fred, do you mean can the muffler be turned around backwards?
I'll check.
Would the TD09 and Med .049 together in a pic suffice Mitch?

Re: The engines I have
Ok just had a look Fred, To spin the muffler housing you'd have to make another locating notch in the bottom of the housing like the original shown here...
The carb looks like it could be clocked around and even the feed nipple could possibly be clocked around too but I haven't tried it.
