I don't know. Amazon offers next day delivery and local stores have same day delivery.
But what's curious to me, my last three ebay buys have been headlined this way:
Shipped (Untracked): Est. delivery Fri, Sep 6 - Wed, Sep 11
Shipped (Untracked): Est. delivery Sat, Sep 7 - Thu, Sep 12
Shipped (Untracked): Est. delivery Thu, Sep 5 - Mon, Sep 9
"Shipped untracked" - All USPS....?????? First time I have seen this. New ebay policy maybe.

Re: WILLY NILLY
My concern is that I ordered on the 14th August and have had no update. However when I look at the website I get this ?
I can handle a delay due to items missing but having absolutely no response to emails , calls ?

The thread: https://www.coxengineforum.com/t15143-willy-nilies-where-are-you has their mailing address a couple messages down, and a little further a link to the Willy Nillies forum, free to join.
I don't know if this helps. A few have been concerned about delays in orders, and the proprietors of the company are a couple in their senior years. Last I heard, the man was still working a full time job and doing Nilly Willies on the side.
You could write them a kind inquiry postal letter, may get more attention than electronics.
Personally, I have not ordered from them. With the difficulties expressed by others with order problems, makes me want to stand back a little until others express resolution to delays. Did they have a health issue causing order delays?
A few in the past, maybe a year ago? have sought resolution through their banks, so I really don't know.

They are travelling a lot to different modelling events that also adds to shipping delays.
I ordered my Shoestring Micro RC racer from them and they shipped to me internationally with delivery in about a month..not quick but was worth waiting for.

Re: WILLY NILLY
The concern is that on the web it is saying permanently closed ?
Delay is not a concern
However I order a plane on the 13 th August and received it 2 weeks ago. The order I'm concerned about was ordered on the 14 th the next day.
Oh well lets see what happens.

Re: WILLY NILLY
Who is saying it is closed? (I put the following in a Spoiler as it is a rant.)
@MANDALAY, I noticed that according to their website for desktop version browser, says a 10 day delay for shipping, which means now two weeks overdue on shipping. Some others seem content in spite of the delays. His website is a little sluggish, which tells me that he's trying to keep his costs down. Prices seem reasonable.
Also noticed that the cellphone version doesn't seem to offer all the products, only kits, but the desktop version has even his Cox look alike engine mounts for electric motors.
Costs on his C/L Goldberg Stuntman 23 and Sterling half-A Ringmaster kits priced at under $30 seems very reasonable.
Just a few casual observations.
- I don't put much trust in Google AI:
- in their search results for business statuses. A few years ago I was staffing the social services office at the local Salvation Army about 20 hours a week. (Aside from the pastoral officer couple, we were then all volunteer run. Being rural, don't have deep pocket donors as in large cities to afford employees.)
Google AI called, but talking to a machine, it could not understand that our thrift store was closed, but we are still open for social services, Christian Bible studies and church services. (The store next door is now used for other internal purposes. Our community service building is next door to it, but both use the same address.)
So, not understanding anything but sales, it continued to list us as closed or open, depending on who answered the phone. (It called every couple months.) This confused the community visiting us.
AI only understands black or white. Google doesn't have an option where, what AI can't do, they have a human being to call you.
So, I don't put a lot of credence on results garnered through robots.
Have you noticed that many businesses in order to save money have turned over what a secretary or receptionist did, to robot call systems? With these, you waste a lot of time trying to get in touch with the right person.
Back in the old days, I'd call a business and get in touch with the right person within a couple minutes, in 10 minutes we were done. Nowadays, I've wasted 30 minutes, an hour sometimes spanning a couple days, so I could talk to somone.

Re: WILLY NILLY
It is the crazy way the Google AI questions the business owners. I've dealt with it. At first it seems like you are talking to a real person, then realize it's a machine. You are given brick and mortar store questions. There is no way to give a right answer if you don't fit their assumptions.
I would consider this as a lesson in that one cannot depend solely on Internet search results without further research. Not everything exposed in search results is true.

Re: WILLY NILLY
It has been 5 weeks since i placed my order and have had NO correspondence what so ever.
I have email , called and left messages.
Seriously are these guys still in business ????? I want to know so I can take measures to get my money back.
Please no excuses they are busy etc . This is NOT how a business is run.

Re: WILLY NILLY
Still nothing
OH well I have notified the bank to reclaim the money.
Since then 2 orders with Stevens Aero and absolutely no issues.
MUCH better package than Willie Nillies. Dear yes, but a much better design and approach.
