Re: Introducing our Cox .049 TD Engines
tudordewolf It's difficult to find carburetors for RC conversion. But Lucky sosam 117 mike still has some carburetors, it's the closest thing to a Cox carburetor. also you can use a restriction ring on the exhaust gasestudordewolf wrote:sosam117 wrote:I have "six" .049 carburetors that will fit those engines.
Hello! I've ordered one of the TD's after reserving one, and would love to add a carb throttle, if they're still available, can you send me your info? This is my first post on the forums so I can't direct message yet.

Re: Introducing our Cox .049 TD Engines
Here's my Cox .049 Tee Dee from Bernie. Arrived last week, but was out so post office held. Got it today, what a pleasant surprise.
The test stand is quality crafted machined aluminum with precision cut holes for engine mounting from a section of box channel, certainly not bent like one would with sheet steel.
The engine is a jewel to behold. Now that I have a test stand will make mounting Cox engines easier for testing. The 3 - 4.5x2 props are for my .020 Pee Wee's and Tee Dee.
Another pleasant surprise was the high output flashlight, a gift from Bernie.
Thank you, Bernie!
