Same here.
I like to annoy him with videos of people using electric starters on Cox engines.
(Kidding of course)

new member.....
well, i thought i would do as the title says. introduce my self.
nemoskull, mostly post on RCG in the micro indoor section. always wanted a fuel very small plane, the other day dusted off a peewee 020, been gathering information on it for a little while now.
i build and fly, have been for a couple of years now, but electrics. the smaller the better. (a 2oz plane is a monster for me.)
i had a cox 049, back when there was a store that sold them locally in yuma, but i was a kid and it only flew once, for 10 seconds. now that i am a better pilot, it think its time to try again.
but my other love is all things mechanical, mostly engines and cars.

yeah, its still very weird to have people say AUW of ONLY 4 oz. i could never get any of my PZ UM motors to haul that. my attraction to glow engines. fairly cheap, lost of power for there size.
gotta love it!

And no need for an esc or even a throttle servo in most engines.

You sound like the guy to attempt the first Parkzone Ultra Micro TeeDee .010 conversion.
BTW, I still have those X-acto blades you sent me.

I was thinking i would do that
But apparently some guy in Canada already did it with a Microflite tee dee .010 and a different needle valve.

If I ever get an .010, believe me, I would make some way for it to work. I would do it to the P-51D
Re: New members: please introduce yourselves and become part of the discussions
I would do a cub or sukhoi.
If you really want i could lend you a .010?

Hello
Hi all, just joined the site after coming back from a 15+ yr break from flying. I dug out my old black widow this week, gave it a quick cleaning and ran a few tanks of gas through. Then mounted it to the pod on my glider. It ran a bit rough but well enough to get airborne. I figure that's pretty good for not having been run for a very long time. A testament to the engineering of Cox.
So far I've found an amazing amount of good info on this site. Wish I had this kind of a resource when I was a kid learning to fly control line with my baby bee.
