Re: New r / c model airplane project for Cox!
Well, here I share the modification that I made to the front end to be able to adjust the exterior without problems.
I put a soldered tin nut and I can remove it with a wrench, which allows me to adjust very well and leave the whole well.
Also by means of the manual lathe, make cavities in the wood, so that the control moves without problems.
here are the pictures...

Great work Mauricio.
You should get all your creations together for a group photo. You have made some of the most amazing models.

Great and very nice looking build. I really like your fine attention to details and how you do things very well and nicely. Cannot wait to see the finished product.
And on another note. I really like your small servo tray. The idea and simplicity is great and hopefully I will remember to do it like that on my next build that requires a servo tray.

Thank you Bob for your words.
Thank you for evaluating my work in this way ... thinking ... maybe I will make a short video with the photos of each model that I have built, it is possible that at some point I will do that.
Hugs and happy new year to you and your family!

Super model, I like the servo hiding in the wings Like on my little piper The three servos in the same parts too. Its a Very simple model But with some more complex parts added which adds to the realism should be superb once finished cox engine power

Re: New r / c model airplane project for Cox!
we continue with the process...
I inserted a .05mm x 3mm carbon rod, to reinforce and prevent flutter in the stabilizer, that rod is glued with cyanoacrylate.
a piece of 1.8 mm steel is used to join the moving parts of the stabilizer...
the controls are projected in carbon rod...
Here I make a base for the fuel tank in styrofoam...
so we have reached the end of the first stage, the model is ready to be covered with heat shrinkable material (SuperMonokote)

Re: New r / c model airplane project for Cox!
Professional work like always, Mauricio, congratulations! I also prefer the carbon strips and tubes in strengthening the spars and leading edges, instead of balsa or hardwood.
Beautiful model, to the smallest details... (Seeing your productive work, I wish i had the kit I ordered from Dick Russ already delivered and could start its build right away ..).

Hi Mauricio, It's always great to see how you fabricate parts for your models. You are a true Craftsman. I always learn something new from what you share with us here. I offer my sincere condolences for the loss of your good friend Roberto.
Just a special comment
As a long time modeler and engineer I am very impressed with your skills and just wanted to say well done!

Thank you friends for your words, thank you very much!
I share here, and the decoration of the SCAMP model aircraft, I wanted it to be of simple lines and bright colors, those colors that always attract attention.
I hope that this chosen decoration is to your liking as well.
Just need to put:
Fuel tank.
Controls.
Servos.
