I have always painted my tips on my props yellow (epoxy paint).
One plus is when balancing the prop, I use more yellow paint on the lighter side tip to get the prop balanced out. (even horizontal)
Been doing that or years. Got it from an older Free-flighter years ago when I was a young kid.

That's why I love the yellow Cox safety tip props. The prop arc is easy to see and keep my fingers out of:
