Very unique idea! However one might say over engineered. The kiss principal doesn't apply here!!! Cool! Mark

He must have a one way bearing on the driven gear attached to the engine. Neat setup. I assume for a boat or RC car?

Re: Electric starter ror Cox .010 engine
I believe that Pawel posted a video showcasing the starter's ability to crank the engine.. and disengage completely.. once it's running. I was very impressed by it. A bit heavy for a functional aero-app.. but a very cool "remote-start" for a diorama-type of exhibition.
Re: Electric starter ror Cox .010 engine
Looks like it would rob a good bit of power. Any specifics on how it runs? It is a neat idea.

We have absolutely no idea on specifics, sorry but have posted on behalf of Pawel. Hopefully, he will join this thread to answer your questions.
Hello every one
Some one ask ebout the specyfication - starter power suply is 6 Volts. All most parts I was bay on Ebay only the cogwheels was make special for this. Centrifugal clutch was came from old phone dial.

Good work Pawel. Electric motor can withstand to more than 20K rpm? Other than this, crankshaft pin can be bent by flooding?
