He's an engineering tool maker of 50 years and has
An incredible knowledge and talent.
To qualify, apart from the cox bits, carb and bearings
He made everything.

What's the power to weight like?

It's far from heavy Indra, and probably under proped with that
10 6. I doubt Phil will fly it it would mean quite a small plane.
If you look around utube you'll see his 7 cylinder Gloucester
Gladiator though.

It is interesting how much time, effort and money a person will devote to something for no more than the satisfaction of having done it.

Even if it can never actually be mounted to a plane and flown, still it is a masterpiece that reflects the skills of the craftsman who conceived and built it.
