traveling engine with me
Hi guys Bandit here long time I know just wanted to let you know that I have the traveling engine I know that I've had it for a while but between work, my dads health who is going down hill rapidly now and old mother nature, its been rough I've got pics of the engine just trying to get a chance to run it before I send it on my plan was to do a tandem run with mine and the traveling engine in sink with each other but the weather has been horrible here in Georgia.
To be honest, I was shocked to get it and I appreciate the opportunity to participate in this awesome adventure. I'm going to give it one more shot at a run and if that fails im going to just send it on to the next person. By the way I need the address where to send it next thanks guys. (Bandit}

Don't want to hear that Fred, people recover from strokes you know. Patricia Neal is a great example. Heck your still a young man, haven't even reached retirement age yet. Hang in there, based on past travels of the "Travelling Engine" it's going to be quite awhile before it gets to you.
That said, add me to the bottom of the list. I never had much interest because I knew I would never fly it. But I can run it. Last time I ran a Cox .10 was back in '95. Might be fun to do it again.

I am not sure if the list above is full because I at least miss myself and jmcalata from it. Being far off from the main circle of members all located in the US I originally wanted to contribute only with 010 parts and not to be a detour but was finally encouraged to enroll...so I am puzzled if I am in our out?

I'm sorry to hear that Fred. You don't have to fly or even run it. You are free to receive it just to look it over, read the little message book, and see all the little extras that people toss in. Could take a picture of it with your collection.
Re: traveling engine with me
Bandit, I'm glad to hear from you. I'm sorry to hear about your dad, prayers and wishes for the best. I know how it is, I've been very busy myself, things get pushed back and before you know it, several months go by and you didn't even notice it. Just like this t-shirt contest. I also know winter is a hard time to have the engine, weather really limits what you can do with it.
I look forward to seeing your pictures!

The Bandito is sandbagging on us. Our valued fellow member has been quietly suffering through pneumonia and is still clawing his way back to fair winds and blue skies... And looking after his ailing Dad. You're a good man, Dave, don't over do it, and get well, Spring and Summer will be refreshing our aches and ills very soon.

I hope things get better man, strokes can be recovered from just takes time.
Thanks all for the well wishes, I'm starting to feel better, was thinking about trying to do the run today but it's rather cold and I don't need to get chilled so I decided to wait till I get a little better. I'm going to try and get the pics uploaded tomorrow. until then take care guys (Bandit)
