Medallion is single bypass, Tee Dee dual bypass and the Schnurle variant having timed threading and radically different porting.

Which TD .15 piston is needed? Early ball socket or later with gudgeon pin and connecting rod? Piston diameters are different so can’t swap. Medallion cylinders also have different thread size to the crankcase.

Almost need to buy a rough doner engine for a complete cylinder and piston set.

I have a rough, complete donor.   I cant move the piston, but haven't tried too hard.  It has been soaking in a jar of fuel for litteral years at this point.

I ask Peter, he anodized his engine like Mk2 but I think is Mk1 thin cylinder wall (piston with ball socket ball).
