Built up my First Mouse Racer Engine!
Just so Mark knows that the super-nice, anodized case he gave me is NOT gathering dust....here it is, turning over 18000 rpm yesterday !

That's a pretty one. Your pickup tube is at bottom center? There doesn't really seem to be an ideal placement for RC flying, with all the banking and turning, and especially descending. Seems like the only way to keep it from sucking air is to always fly straight ahead or straight up. Or is she strictly a bench baby? In that case bottom is of course best.

Re: Built up my First Mouse Racer Engine!
Yeah, the pick-up is over on the right side with the engine upright...tank was borrowed from one of my B.W.'s and I was wanting to leave it there for the moment, so turned the whole deal on it's side to use all the fuel.
I've got a silver-tanked engine on my "Big Otto" now, and that's where this engine is headed. I want to see if I can get Otto flying good on some 40' spiderwire (need a little more "sky"). With that set-up, I plan to still have the engine on it's side, with the pick-up stuck up close to the "top" of the tank next to the N.V. entry.
Just hope ole Otto can take the extra ZIP !

Who did the custom anodizing? It looks good... and I'm working on a idea of my own that I may need some anodizing of parts

Mark Boesen...one of the Tach Race instigators! He sent the case along with his race engines...and I'm making sure it lives it's life !!!!
