Have a very good condition Medallion .049. runs awesome 20,000 + rpm. However the needle tends to vibrate and slowly open and flood. If I hold the needle can keep under control. But Can't fly like that!! I tried slippin a babe bee spring inside the medallion (two springs) and that holds it but then doesn't fully close. It can work in a pinch but any great ideas for this one?

Thanks

Hi Iceberg,

Remove the needle retainer and slide a piece of silicon tube over the needle as in the picture. (It's a TD but should be OK for a Medaillon as well) That immobilizes the needle. This also works for Babe Bees

Hi Overlord
Good suggestion. I have done that in a TD or two but not with Medallion yet. Will try tomorrow. Appreciate the reminder and good suggestion.
