Re: Anyone for UFOs?
I can think of a better use for a babe bee. Like say flying shop rags?
I guess it's cool in it's own way, like you said it's different!

Why do people bash the Babe Bee? They are great, yet low powered, running engines. If not for the BB many of us would not be involved in this great hobbie. Along with the Golden Bee they both are pretty engines when new. Sometimes it's good to step back to your roots and enjoy what Leroy and his team created for us. Just saying.

Re: Anyone for UFOs?
Yeah sorry if I gave that impression. I actually think the babe bee is a fine engine and the backbone of the cox lineup.
I was referring to a nice engine placed in a not so nice UFO. In my opinion not so nice anyway, others may like it!
The joke was I would rather strap the babe bee to a shop rag instead of the UFO.

Does the UFO have a Bee in it or is it a product engine?

Re: Anyone for UFOs?
I have a flying saucer. Paid $20 from you guessed it...........Hub Hobby!
EXACTLY! So many people always bash the Babe Bees! Some of my best running engines are the Babe Bees! The Babe Bees were and still are perfect beginner engines, would you rather learn how to fly a plane using a Babe Bee or a Killer Bee? If you crash that plane, what engine is most likely still going to run after that crash? The Babe Bee is the most popular cox engine out there. Haven't you noticed how many Cox magazine ads feature a drawing of the Babe Bee? I like the Babe Bee, they look awesome when they are new and run great when used! This goes the same for the Golden Bee, Babe Bee with a stunt tank!
It's not you that is bashing the Babe bee, I hear it from MANY people!
The flying saucer has a product engine in it.
