Back in 89 or 90 I had one of the Cox Gassers RC cars on order from Cox after I won a $75 Cox gift certificate at a club outing.

The order was cancled due to them being recalled for overheating issues. Have any of you ever seen one or had one? Is the overheating problem the real reason they were pulled from the market?

I ended up getting the GTP Nissan instead. I have misplaced my 1990 Cox catalog otherwise I would have a scanned in a picture of what it looked like.
