I'm lost on those Rod, heck I thought you had a couple of OS engines in the group.
Nice job on the mounting board. Looks like you custom fit each one.

Ok, I'll put you out of your misery. Good guess Eric, number 5 is a Frog 1.49 "Vibramatic". Named for the spring operated "flapper valve" rear induction.

So close Bob. There were a couple of OS engines. Number 4, OS PET-II .099.
OK, We're done. Thanks guys, and good guessing on the unfamiliar ones. Nothing really exotic there, but just a couple of oddballs.

Re: My "stupid moment" report
Confession time?
Was running-in a new Enya 15 glow one afternoon last summer, when I decided to shut it off by jamming my left hand into the wood prop! It was turning 14K+ rpm, and stopped instantly, while throwing bits of me and my blood all over my test stand!
I've no idea how I did that (since I'm right handed), but now I know how to stop a small engines instantly in an emergency!
Later at the hospital with seven stitches in my little finger, and a full tube of surgical CA I was almost good as new.
The only damage to the prop was that the end of one prop blade was bashed flat. The other prop tip was not damaged, as the bone in my finger did it's job well, and without breaking.

Guys! Reach around. Don’t get lax and use a leather glove. Or any glove for that matter. I fly with guys that are good ol’ southern boys and they use leather finger slips or full gloves.
Your reaction times aren’t getting better as you age.

Re: My "stupid moment" report
I use a heavy leather glove on my right hand when starting larger than half-A engines, or use an electric starter on some occasions.
The Enya is still not completely broke-in, and had been started two or three times already so the glove was off to take another tach reading, and/or tweak the needle if necessary. Anyway, the glove would not have been on my left (injured) hand.
No doubt it's time for me to give up engine running, and I've already given away my skill saw and saber saw, so no danger there.
"Golden Years" my behind!

Re: My "stupid moment" report
Yup, now I do the same and use a glove or chicken stick.
Even bench running an OK Cub .049 can give a nasty prop nick.
Back around 1986 while preparing my HOB 48 inch (1220 mm) Nomad single channel glider for flight, I got my pinky finger in the prop of a Cox .020 Tee Dee. The little 4.5x2 prop left about 7 evenly spaced 1/4 inch (6 mm) wide cuts spaced about 1/8 inch (3 mm) apart. Made a quick compress of nasal tissue and applied pressure for about 15 minutes to stop the bleeding.
