"The Frozen Finger Fun-Fly"---On a Clear, Calm Day with 60° Temps !!!!!
More Winter Time Fun! At least as much a 60° day could be considered "Winter Time"!
Thought I'd post this note from the Breezy Hill Flyers Face Book Page:
=============================================
Our Breezy Hill "Frozen Finger Fun-Fly" turned out (happily) to be anything but!!!!
We got ourselves a beautiful day, with temps pushing 60° and amazingly calm winds, so there was lots of racket and good times happening on the Hill!
The guys were spared the early morning chore of enclosing the pavilion, though the heaters were cranked up to provide warming stations early in the day..
ABSOLUTELY GREAT FOOD was provided by members!
Becky brought great Chili.
Steve brought his home made vegetable soup.
Billy Lang brought his famous hot cinnamon apple cider and sausage and crackers.
Honored Guest Herb Prater brought THREE of his famous cheesecakes.
The Flyers had a great time sharing their sky with Big Time 3-D friends from Paragould, Arkansas and St. Louis, along with several visitors who stopped in through the day to say hello and watch the fun!
So, a fantastic day to fly model airplanes and visit with great people! Thanks to everyone who helped pull this together, and all the great folks who participated!
