Ya know, i was wondering that same thing after seeing the Riveria box recently. Someone at Cox must have had good forsight to select the most “iconic “ models of the 60’s, Corvette' Riveria, chaperlle. The negotiations for the rights to use the Xje Jaguars probably didn’t get approval to go to production. Im guessing. It woulda been another great model to have, but the went with the Pinto funny car instead. Im guessing lots of the models got the Ralph Nader treatment, by enthusiastic young pyromaniacs !

cox jag
You are probably correct. It would have been a neat car. As for Ralph, cox was lucky they didn't try to produce a corvair model...Unsafe at any speed, Thanks Mark P.S. However my brother restored a wicked corvair!!! Look up yenko 086.

You don't see many of the Cox Ford GT's either, but the Cox slot GT's are quite plentiful..
