Little Devil
Has anyone ever seen a colour picture of the original "Little Devil"?
I'm building a replica, powered by an OK Cub .049, as the original, and I'd like to use the same colour scheme, if I can find out what the colours were!

I think the simple answer to that is "No chance"! it's 18" span and solid balsa.
Now if you want some tiny little R/C designs I have lots of plans that I can send to you, just give me a rough idea of what you want.

Re: Little Devil
I regret not realizing the boxes would be useful one day. I still have my old Little Devil, but can't find a picture of the box on Google. I'll keep looking, because I bought the block for the fuse last year and plan on building one this Summer. I'll keep looking and post anything I find.

Re: Little Devil
Cool project! How about blue and yellow! Lol!
I'd guess, it being a Li'l Devil...red w/ black trim?

If you can find someone with plans from the original kit, there may be color notations in the instructions or on the drawing. My "Zipper" plan has notes for the color of the shaded areas on the plane.
Also, while I haven't done it with this particular kit, a builder might be able to design an R/C replica using the plan's outline, but with a built-up internal structure. THAT would be cool!
I did it with Joe Wagner's "Scout" back in the 90's. I had to enlarge the plane by 10% to get the radio gear to fit, but with the stuff that's out there today, it ought to be possible to do it 1 to 1.
Just a thought.
