I got it on eBay with $15. Looks pretty bad in photo. Still awaiting delivery, looking forward to dismantle it and clean inside out! It looks like buried in soil for sometimes.

I believe the top end was changed to a modern Bee assembly.

That will take more than a heat gun to free up. I’d drop that in a jar of penetrating fluid.

Good eye, newer grooved cylinder, unlike any of mine.

Still, I would love to own it and clean it up. Yup, penetrating oil for a week followed by a good A/F bath and a buff.

Good for the time being, haven't polish it yet. just put on after run oil. Reed is working, good compression. I have to put in glow head as it was headless when arrived.

Yes! Looking good cleaned up. Run her as is, or add a little elbow grease with Mothers or Semichrome Polish  she'll buff right up!   cheers

Another little detail I previously missed. The modern cylinder appears to have a first version #302-1 Baby Bee glow head. That being the case, I wouldn't run it if it still lights up as they are somewhat rare in good condition. Put a later common #325 head on it for the test run.
