Yeah, just looked at that one. I am interested in the backplate, don't see a needle valve and that is a big issue.
But it runs though.......

That is a good deal, pretty rare item. I wonder what the shipping weight would be without the dust and cobwebs?

Re: Running PeeWee??
You would think that he'd at least have cleaned the cr*p off before he photographed it, does he expect to actually SELL it??
I also like the "Item condition: Used" but what's it been used FOR?

Maybe he ran out of toilet paper.

Re: Running PeeWee??
The tense of the verb "runs" should be changed to "ran" because I am sure at one time it did.

Yes, he could also say "As new (Once upon a time!)"

Those must have ended, all the other engines he's got listed now are not much better than that .020

He's also listing this as a Cox part.

He obviously has NO idea about very much at all, but want's to sound as if he does!

Quite obviously, he doesn't hang around here. If I was trying to sell Cox items, I would be all over this forum, gleaning information.

Re: Running PeeWee??
Ron, good news/bad news re the backplate missing needle. The Sky Copter’s needle is NOT a regular .020 needle. But It IS the same needle as used in many product engines. Will try to attach photos, (I know it may seem hard to believe otherwise) .cribbs74 wrote:Yeah, just looked at that one. Re: Running PeeWee??
One might call that the opposite of fine thread.
"buy the all new cox coarse thread needle valve"
"buy the all new cox coarse thread needle valve"
Re: Running PeeWee??
The other thing with this feller is his prices, he has a starting price of $20 on dirty old Babe Bees, I've bought engines in better condition for $5 off EBay!

Some people..............
Also that .020 does not seem to be missing a needle it looks as if 1/2 the needle is still in there.

Then I would pay about $5 for it; last thing you want is a needle broken off inside the spraybar.
Maybe he tossed it in his pocket, and ran around the block while listing it on his phone.....
Re: Running PeeWee??
No no I think we've got it confused. He wants to pay someone $20 to take it off his hands.
