Hello all again,

Again I found another great deal, this time for a new in the case .15 special MK1 TD for $34 CAD.
To bad it wasn't the MK2 but still good I think. Does anyone know what they are worth new?
I'll probably just keep it new for the collection and stick to the .049's

Lol yeah, I never owned any of the bigger cox engines before. Is the wrist pin a solid design for the cox .15 or is the ball and socket better?

Wrist pin is a better design for this size engine. I have seen them sell for $250+ NIB. If it was a MkII then I have seen them go for $500+ for NIB. Its all about market and who really wants it bad enough when it comes to ebay prices.

I was thinking the wrist pin being better like most other engines.

Oh man, that WAS a steal!

I was donated a used one like that, but spent way more than you to just get it to a half-way decent condition Smile New glowhead, shipping the ball joint reset tool back and forth etc added up.

If you want a Cox .15 size for a runner, I'd suggest you sell that one for the "market price" and with that money get a nice used MkII.

The rare times we get one of those (Special) we list them for $395 and they don't last. MKII we list and sell for $695 - $795 but only see one or two per year.
