Carlson Engine Imports, Ed Carlson
Does anyone know if Mr. Ed Carlson is ok. His website is gone and his phone number does not work.

I hope he's ok Bob. He's a good person to deal with. I know he was getting up in age. I'm not 100% certain but one of my club members recently bought a PAW .09 diesel . I believe it was through the site which was within the month. Ken

Thanks Ken,
I will keep trying. If anyone has his fax number can you please post it. I have always enjoyed dealing with him in the past.

Ed's never been one for technology. I think his website only gets updated about every two years or so. True, it looks like there's no sign of the website. I know he changed the host a couple of years back, but even a search for "Carlson Engine Imports" gets no results. You could try to enquire via Aerodyne has him listed as their engine supplier. Maybe try aerodyneal@aol.com and see if they can shed any light.

That's not actually Ed's site. He must be the preferred supplier of engines for Aerodyne. There are no contact details for Ed. Just that his engines can be ordered through that website. Actually not a very helpful site.

I spoke with Ed about 6 months ago, he said he was talking with someone that was interested in buying the business. I assume the sale went through. There is a good chance I may run into him today, I'll see what I can find out.

THank you Jim,
I just got worried when his web site was down and phone didn't work. I hope all is still good with him.

Just saw Ed and asked about the site. He inadvertently let it lapse awhile back and someone else bought the name and has been trying to sell it back to him ever since. He has nothing to do with the bogus site that is up. He still has all of his inventory and is open for business.
Ed can be reached at 602-863-1684

Really, what's the point of anyone holding out for money for a domain name. Ed Carlson is Ed Carlson. He could call his business whatever he likes and people would soon get to know. What a stupid person if they thought they could make money from this.
