Cox Engine of The Month
Finding former COX employees to join us on CEF

Finding former COX employees to join us on CEF
I "suggested a feature" to CEF at the bottom of this page some time ago and - having not received any feedback till now - I dare repeating it here in a new post: does anyone happen to know former COX employees either from their factory in Santa Ana (closed down in 1990) or Corona (closed down in 1996) or Penrose (closed down in 2009) who would be willing to join us here on CEF and comment/correct our sometimes guess-work-based explanations on engine designs, component development, or just would tell us stories about the heyday of COX, etc.....of course trusting, that there is a sizeable interest here.
Many of the former COX employees must be way younger than I am (not surprisingly), myself having started to (imitate) work back in 1982 after my graduation.
Just an idea.....

Re: Finding former COX employees to join us on CEF
I received your suggestion, I thought I emailed you a reply (maybe it didn't go through, I'll have to check my gmail when I get on my computer at home).
I'm not sure how we would go about tracking these guys down. Maybe a few of our members have the contact info for some of these guys. Mudhen, Warren, Mark...are the few I can think of who may be able to drag some of those guys on here.
It's a good suggestion though.

Thanks Admin....lets see if there are some reactions/suggestions.

Re: Finding former COX employees to join us on CEF
This would be cool if we found one or more former employees that enjoys BSing about the company and their insight
On one of my other sites is a guy from Fox who recounts many things about different engines and some of the grief trying to get Duke Fox to think it was "his idea" because he almost never implemented a change of some underling

I know we have at least one former senior Cox employee as a member of the forum, but I'll let him make himself known.
