Probably flies as well as to be expected. You don't hear much about it so I doubt it was a screamer. You do hear stuff about the ME-109 and the Hyper Viper...
Why not string it up and try it out?

Mine doesn't fly very well. And only goes round and round. I have friends who have scratch build auto gyros that fly nice with a throttle.
I have plans for a couple if anyone wants a copy

Bernie offers the replacement rotor for that model. You might want to check that out for spares.

Circles only.
It is an autogyro and not the only one for CL but there are not many. "Otto the Gyro" is a kit for a larger engine that there are plenty of you tube videos.

I've not used Worthpoint. Those photos are ones I copy/saved from Google images.
Blackhawk models had a Kellett Autogyro kit for Cox reed-valve .049 power.
The Cox Apache looks to rely more on it's rotor for lift, than the Blackhawk model. The latter has a substantial wing-area/span.. with it's main rotor being mostly there for scale-appearance. The Cox Apache however; has very small stub-wings that don't seem to me.. would provide much if any lift. I think that the rotor is more functional on the Cox model.
