Sig Deweybird
hello all,
However I got al lot of engines. I only used a cox free fight helicopter. I was planning to build a control line airplane for a Golden bee. I want it to bee a Sig Deweybird.
They dont sell them in The Netherlands. Could you maybe all look out for one in the local hobby shops? And look what shipping will be to get it here.
Thank you!
Bastiaan

Re: Sig Deweybird
Hey Bastiaan,
Sig still has them listed on their site. You might check to see if they'll send you a kit. If not, I was already preparing an order from them, and can order and ship it to you.

Re: Sig Deweybird
Hello Kim,
Thank you for you reply.
I have tried a couple of times to order from their website, but always stranded on the same page.
I think it will be a small box and could be shipped with first class mail to here? Do you now if there are any size limits to first class mail?
Thank you in advance.

Hey Bastiaan,
Don't have a clue as to the limitations on 1st class, but if you'll PM me your address, I'll take it to the Post Office and check on it.

Re: Sig Deweybird
Hello All,
Thank you NEW222 for your reply. I know it is not much what you get, but despite that I want an original one. I have no experience with building whatsoever, so i hope this would me a little more easy.
Kim is so kind to order 2 pieces of them, allong with a control line .049 SIG BEECHCRAFT STAGGERWING KIT and 2 handles. after he received them they will be send to me. Many thanks for that!
The Beechcraft is for my girlfriend, who want to learn control line flying to. I already got some used engines for them.
In this topic i will post my progress.
I never build one, so every help is welcome!
Thanks,
Bastiaan

Re: Sig Deweybird
Just a little tip I will pass on in case you have not done so before. With all my kits, smaller ones anyway, or kits with few parts such as the ones you ordered, do yourself a favor and trace out all the wood onto paper for those eventful days. Or even if you decide to try to build from plans. You will be glad you did, I am......
