Talk about nasty weather..
Dang who ticked off mother nature! we have been having some excitement weather wise today. Tornado's, large hail and you name it and it's not over yet Did get a little suviner though in the form of a fairly large hail stone. Take a look! (The bandit is cautious)

The radar looks pretty nasty for sure, looks to be moving fast too. We are supposed to hit 93 tomorrow witch means 98+ on my porch thermometer. UU GGG!!
I can't remember it being so hot so early in the year ever.

Yeah it's been crazy for sure just last week we had a night that almost made it to the freezing mark and the next day made it almost to 90 no wonder no one can keep from getting sick. I'm also a light sport pilot and I haven't left the ground in 2 months due to the rain and if it ain't raining, the wind is blowing something serious. Nice chunk of hail. I have held some golf ball sized ones, but they were all roundish.
In Oklahoma it's wind, sometimes high as 60-70mph. Even days with low winds the gusts nail you.
I need to find a home with a steady 5 mph.

It's enough to make one consider RC. I am a loyal fellow though so it's CL for me.
Mother nature is actually God, we probably have all ticked him off.

Ron, when you were flying here in Clovis, NM, wind didn't phase you until it got up above 25 mph, then we called it quits. Wind made for good practice flights, still. We never crashed even with loss in line tension, which happened once with your S-1 as I recall. You recovered quickly. Similar to what they say about riding motorcycles, "The worst flight is better than the best day of work."Cribbs74 wrote:It's enough to make one consider RC. Regarding ticking God off, I'm thinking He's wanting to get our attention. We've kicked Him out of our schools, our government offices, our families overall, and public places. Years past people would accept natural disaster as a wake up call and return to Him, pursue honesty, justice, benevolence and etc. Nowadays we explain it away with scientific speculation (theories).
