Oversize engines on homemade speed-pans.. built like "Rat-Rods" in a Run What You Brung style, like in the Prop-Rod thread.
Only difference is; that you're standing in the circle with lines and a handle.
Speaking of speed, today I tried Glowplug Boy 35% in the Li'l Satan and it woke up like I'd put rocket fuel in it. It was the fastest thing I've flown, short of the Gladiator combat wing with an AME .061. I've been using Sig 35 till now.

Perfect! Hot fuel! That would be a necessary element. What the size of your biggest sacrificial 2-stroke model engine? Something that you wouldn't put in a nice airplane? We all have at least one.. right?
Re: Reed Speed 2014 Results!
Same with that wing that needs a home. I'll bet everybody here has the makings for a model like this.. without going shopping. A safety consideration would be to tie the bellcrank-mount into the fuse using a cable.. in the event that the wing separates from the fuse in flight.

Hi y'all! Is is possible to see a summary status of just where all of the entrants are at the moment? Maybe that will spur some additional interest . Personally, now that the local flying contest season is essentially over and yesterday I completed my Perky Postal flight entries I can now focus on flying my Cox Reed Speed entries !!
