For Tee Dee 020 we sell about one or two each per week just to give an idea how slow sales for TD 020 parts are.

Needle valve
Carb body
Tank backplate
Drive plate
Venturi
Retainer nut

Cranks would sell even slower and perhaps one can understand our hesitancy.

Hey Bernie,

I would gather your focus is to keep all the popular engines up and running within reason with support parts for those wanting to use small light weight little powerhouse engines suitably easy to replace parts as needed or to upgrade banged ones. Everything is a tough tactical call while occasionally its a no brainer.

The reality is a small lot order to feel the waters, per my original post 100 / 150 perhaps 200 I know its a cost break on volume; even if the cost is moved to 18.95 they will sell to the truly needy and run out within a reasonable time. 14 to 28 months.

If you want a hot on the shelf product you could consider scaling down the cad files:
of the .049 RC carb folks would outfit their TD .020's enticing use due to the upgrade / or to retrofit the engine in their display case. 1000 units should move out within a reasonable time span of 24 / 36 months.

Some would buy the RC carb to retrofit on other small engines.
I would for instance (for the challenge) buy one just to fit to a Pee Wee as described somewhat on an earlier post removing the tank only using the reed housing and air /fuel tube cut down to accept the RC carb to increase air / fuel bringing up the power closer to a TD. And buy 3 more for some of my TD's.

The problem with making a small carbs for small engines is the precision of the parts needs to be extremely tight. Any air leaks will affect performance. The increased precision will add cost and not make it feasible to market.

I have the G Mark RC .030 works fine simple carb not that accurate loose fit to the engine with a pin type press fit type retainer  -allows you to fly RC with a small engine.

The whole thing could be made out of molded glass / plastic less the needle and valve + 2 screws and lock nut. Although a shiny aluminum carb body always draws more fish. Cool

Peter Burford makes (or used make?) some small nice carbs for his PB .33cc engine. These where also sold separately, but the site doesn't seem to be working anymore...

The carb for the cox .05RC is not much of a wonder in precision, so that would have to be improved on if scaled down.

Yes I have seen this carb before, something similar reduced to suit the TD's .020 and .010
Made in plastic would reduce some of the fuss plastic threads should seal well enough to the carb body.
