My Birthday cake!
My birthday cake was decorated with edible Spitfires and Seafires. The SWTSMBO has been watching me watch the Windy videos!

Re: My Birthday cake!
Thanks chaps - I will post more snippets tomorrow. It is late here now and I've just got back from the theatre.

I enjoy the theatre - there are so many where I live. I am envious of actors and actresses - I couldn't remember so many lines and still have the courage to present to an audience.

Yes, Harry Shearer. I've seen several of his films. What a hoot.ian1954 wrote:Thanks chaps - I will post more snippets tomorrow. It is late here now and I've just got back from the theatre.

Re: My Birthday cake!
I had a very nice birthday yesterday - I do notice that every year I get fewer cards but I also have less to send.
Reflecting on previous occasions often brings on a touch of sadness over the now departed.
But onwards and upwards - adapt and overcome.
Here are a few of the cards I received
However, here is where I am going to invoke a little envy. Being British, my favourite aeroplanes are the Lancaster, Spitfire, Mosquito and Hurricane.
Jane has watched me watching windy videos and heard his somewhat disparaging comments about "Dancing with the Stars" and seen his preference for "Dancing with Spitfires, wings and fuselages" as he builds and flies his models. Here it is called "Strictly Come Dancing" and I too am "encouraged" to sit through it.
Hence the comment on the following.
I can't wait to book this

That's pretty cool. And a couple of stacks of balsa coloured candy ribs next to it too.ian1954 wrote:My birthday cake was decorated with edible Spitfires and Seafires. The SWTSMBO has been watching me watch the Windy videos!
